As we end the first quarter of 2022, the trend in the rental market continues to be very competitive; and the average time on the rental market is about one week. The high demand for rental housing is due to an influx of intended residents looking for housing as they arrive on Oahu; as well as a surge in military personnel, who are also competing for off-base housing. We expect this trend to continue the remainder of 2022.
